Based on the crossbase standard software, a PIM, MAM and cross-media solution adapted to the individual requirements was implemented for the Porsche Lifestyle Group.
The product data is maintained in a clear product hierarchy and mapped according to the business logic of the Porsche Product Life Cycle in the development, sales and archive phases.
The products are enriched with extensive technical features, images, documents and continuous text. This is supported by a comprehensive authorization concept that controls access rights down to field level.
A special feature is the product maintenance developed by crossbase specifically for Porsche Lifestyle. A dedicated search mask, which is closely integrated into the organizational processes, and a dedicated editing mask allow users to edit the highly change-intensive data quickly and with guidance. In addition, an intelligent Excel connection enables suppliers to be integrated into the data maintenance process. Other important administrative functions relate to product range management and the option of versioning product features. This makes it possible to carry out key date-related updates fully automatically.
Another maintenance function is the ability to display missing data user-specifically at the touch of a button. Mandatory fields and product responsibilities are defined for this purpose, which are evaluated via the search mask.
The system is rounded off by up-to-date API interfaces to Microsoft Dynamics, the MSPOS (POS system) and the web stores as well as a calculation module: With just a few calculation entries, dependent costs, prices and contribution margins are calculated in the background. The formulas and constants required for this can be easily adapted and expanded in crossbase.
