Publicare AG, a leading provider of medical aids, has comprehensively modernized its online presence by integrating the crossbase solution. The use of the crossbase API server enables the automatic transfer of product data to the website, which has increased efficiency and user-friendliness.
With crossbase, we were able to implement our wishes: a web shop that accesses our warehouse master data in real time and always obtains current product data and media from a centrally managed database.

Initial situation
Publicare AG was faced with the challenge of providing a constantly growing product range consistently and up-to-date via various media channels. The previous manual maintenance of product information was time-consuming and error-prone, which impaired the up-to-dateness of the website and made internal resource utilization more difficult.
Procedure
To solve these challenges, the Publicare AG website was fully linked to the crossbase PIM solution. The crossbase API server was used, which automatically synchronizes the following data:
- Navigation structure: automatic transfer and updating of categories.
- Article groups with variants: Precise display of complex product configurations.
- Images, texts and files: Media and descriptions are managed and published centrally.
The integration was implemented by an interdisciplinary team from IT, marketing and product management to ensure seamless transfer and optimal user guidance.
Result
Publicare AG was able to significantly improve its digital infrastructure with the new website. Product data is now provided in real time, which both strengthens customer orientation and significantly reduces internal effort.
